FaceLess: the film

So I emailed them asking about a free viewing in the forest. They will do a big discount and let us rent it for 60 Euros, about £48. Sounds like a lot of money to me ...

They told us of some people in Edinburgh who can get us a free preview of it if we want to see it ourselves to judge.

Nice work James, props for your proaction
but
cheeky, faceless fucks.

Maybe explain who we are and what the fuck we are about.
And that our yearly budget doesn't extend past their absurd discount.
For a rental, is there a misunderstanding, are they talking real film reel or something.

I did explain about us.
it's guess its normally how films are released.

I'm happy to respect it.
it would be great if we lived in a world where artists don't have to pay rent.
But we do.

I'll send a polite reply saying why we can't pay that much but hopeing they will consider us in the future.

here's a decent wee movie about the making of faceless:

it says at the end you can watch the movie proper at http://www.ambienttv.net but that doesn't seem to be true - it just tells you about public screenings

me and swithun got a taster DVD with the full film or whatever they are called and watched it.
we thought it wasn't good enough to stand by itself but could be good as an event with something else, maybe a talk about CCTV culture and effects from someone ...
we were going to talk to Shannon about it and offer her the DVD.
