Edinburgh Interdisciplinary Discussions (EID) and the Art Collective would like to invite you to the Enlightened Ideas launch on Saturday 27 June from 9pm, at the Forest Hall (3 Bristo Place).
Enlightened Ideas is a new online social network to encourage collaboration and emerging ideas in Edinburgh. You can create a profile not unlike Facebook, exchange and discuss ideas, and find like-minded collaborators from a broad range of backgrounds: http://enlightened-ideas.ning.com. Interdisciplinary and innovative groups are also encouraged to join the network to advertise their projects and events, add media and connect with the Enlightened Ideas community.
The launch will be an opportunity to meet others interested in collaborative work as well as a chance to discuss your grand ideas within a broad context. The launch will also be an opportunity for groups and projects in Edinburgh to profile themselves.
**Competition**
At the launch we will also announce our interdisciplinary competition. Individuals and groups will be invited to enter ideas, the best of which will receive monetary and personal support from our groups. More information on the competition and the requirements will be announced on the night.
Expect a good chat and free drinks, just bring creativity and an open mind!
