Booking form & price list for St George's West. They offer special cheaper rates for "long-term bookers and charity-led groups." I've asked for those details obviously.

Contact details are Becky Duncan, the Centre Manager, tel: 0131-225-7001, email: mail@stgeorgeswest.com.

Still waiting to hear back from the Caves & Pilrig St Paul's.

Registered charities are entitled to 10% off the cost of room hire at St George's West but not catering or any extras.

For smaller events:

A new cafe has opened on Roseneath St In Marchmont. The owner is a friend of Ericka Duffy's, and apparently they are keen to host events/exhibitions/evenings. I've been in a couple of times - it's lovely, as is the owner Gavin.

Another potential venue is the Halls in Leith, on Saint Anthony Street (http://g.co/maps/wrjdq). Attached is the booking form, more info on their website, http://thehallsvenue.co.uk/.
