morsbaggers are underrepresented in Edinburgh!

Post by pol » Sat Mar 15, 2008 6:51 pm

Morsbaggers all over the UK have made over 14,500 reusable cloth bags from old duvet covers, curtains and vintage clothes and given them away for free to friends, family and unsuspecting shoppers - potentially replacing over 7 million plastic bags.

Fancy joining in? Takes 15 mins to make a morsbag - think of the whales

I suppose we should do some more at some point. You have to be pretty good to make one in 15 minutes though. What is the secret? I decided to copy the German shopping bag design which is a bit simpler, but even so.

We used to do them on Saturdays. I might be busy next weekend, but maybe the one after. When is good for you, Pol?
