kids' workshops in Climate Camp

Post by Rodeta (Neus) » Tue Aug 03, 2010 12:02 pm

Hey all!
I'm in the kids' space working group of Climate camp. Which is happening in Edinburgh from the 20th to the 24th of August.
Please contact me at if you would interested in doing a workshop or have any contacts that might be useful for the matter.
Last minute rush, cause we have to get the schedule done soon!

Here are some of the ones that happened at last year's climate camp, so it's not all about crafty stuff!
Elder (part 1): Wooden pencil making and whittling freeplay
Kids’ make the space yours!
Consensus decision making for kids
The big Kids’ Space meeting
Butterfly & bee-making with felt (part 1)
Wooden Pencil Meditation
Elder: Zine-making
What is Climate Change?
Elder: leaf crowns & rainbow bracelets
Songs about Sustainability
Eco-Feminist Story Telling (Part 1)
Bike Maintenance for kids
Sing and dance for change!
The Big Circus Skillshare
Seedbomb Making
Zine-finishing and distribution
Life is beautiful. The bad thing is that people confuse beautiful with easy.
