good flash for camera for tomorrow photos?

Post by Jane » Fri Aug 13, 2010 9:12 pm

Does anyone have a good flash for a camera that they could take in tomorrow so we can get some great photos of the party of infinite joy love? Do it do it! x x x

flash photography is totally shite to shoot parties. It is socially and artistically disruptive and produces bland washed out images. You need either an slr with a wide aperture and very fast film - (3200 asa) or a digital camera with similar abilities. Ban flash photography at arty events! K x

I've got a nikon flash if Noe has a nikon camera. I've got to (respectfully!) disagree with you Ken, all the club photogs I know of use a flash, stick a diffuser, bounce it off the ceiling, etc. The alternative is expensive gear and a robot-like steady hand.
