Photos for the Press

Post by Gaz » Wed Apr 16, 2008 3:52 pm

Hey.

Do you want your picture in magazine. yes?
Have a read of this. Get a nice picture and send it to Holly below.
Do it today please...
Hi there,

Audience magazine will be mentioning Forest Cafe in the May edition and so we'd like to get hold of some high res images
(no less than 300dpi) of the venue itself if possible.

Our deadline is early tomorrow morning so we'd be especially grateful if you could email us something before then.

Many thanks,

Holly Shanks

On a related issue...

We should have a range of good, clear, high res images we can use for press/press release.

Unbelievably there are no usable images currently on the website.
Some nice pics yes, but a lot are too small, too dark , in flash or probably copyright of pogo. i know from the past that he likes to get a credit.

how about the photo club type people working on such a portfolio?
the more you think, the more you stink

I have emailed her some links.

Good suggestion on working on a portfolio.

You need to get an electronic press kit together with some 300dpi photography - I'm a professional photographer, I can help you with that.

when I get my chance I'm going to punch him in the nose, in the nose, in the nose

All my photos are from a canon 30D and are the required 300dpi quality.
I do need some more general ones of the venue itself and not just events tho I guess.
Any other suggestions or feedback as to what goes in a press pack would be good tho ...

Jethro takes beautiful photos and is a legend.
Some cool HDR images of the rooms would look sweet!!
It's like God's vagina!
