Come Monday, I'm not going to show the Miranda July feature
instead
in place I will show The Bridge
this documentary concerns the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco
and the suicidal
it is by turns devestating, unintentionally hilarious and ultimately heavy
by odd way of curious human disposition it also manages to be hugely quotable
the film switches between actual footage and follow on interviews iwth those who survived
or those who are survived by
the interviews come off like Nick Park's Creature Comforts edited under Chris Morris
i think the original kick for the film arose after an article in the New york Times
this alone makes for a powerful read
find it here
