Forest Big Night Out

Post by Mister C » Tue May 14, 2013 8:51 pm

Dear All

A you know we have the Forest Big Night Out next Thursday, 23rd May. We need help on a couple of things

Volunteers

We need two people to man the entrance to take for corkage, 4 vollies behind the bar and a night manager. Vollie sheet will be at Forest.

Food and drink

We need to arrange for wraps, salads and drinks to be transported to the Old St Paul's, I guess by Monday we'll have a good idea of numbers. Can the KMs arrange?

Transport

Zoe has kindly offered use of her car, but I supsect that anyone else offering their wheels for the night would be great

PA

The sounds team are speaking to the bands, Stephen what do we have at argyll?

Mercy

I think it would be great if we had a merch table with Forest Publications, Record stuff and anything else. Who can organise that?

That's all for now folks

Cheers

Iain

Sorry I can't help much on the night - got a training thing after school, so I won't be able to be in town 'til near the time. Any last minute panics you can call me.

I think most of the cables are still at 141, but we took various amps and speakers from the basement to FC+ a couple of weeks ago. They are in the Action Room.

Oh well, I could probably do that. Arse and all. Though could someone cover my S3 English and maths classes on the Friday? That'd be a big help, and they like a visitor.

Eyup, do we need that official training for bar?...presumably. Is there an easy way to get the training? Otherwise I'd be up doing door. Do we need two on the door all night or are we doing shifts?

I've worked on plenty of bars but not with the forest home or away...would I need any training other than the very basics like prices and where stuff is?

I've got a full personal licence now (digital prints available as proof if you ask me nicely) and wouldn't mind helping out for a short while, if you trust me not to get too drunk while I am working.
