it's either based on the order inwhich they are uploaded.. or alpha-numerically

i use iView (can give you - it's a catalog program) and order them within there, then drag and drop them on Fetch to upload. ... very easy, quick and flexable.

yes. you can batch upload with a ftp program. else 5 at a time. i can give MAC users a program .. Fetch. otherwise there are plenty of freebie programs for windows and unix to use.
