AUGUST EVENTS SCHEDULE

Post by Shannon » Tue Jul 22, 2008 1:13 pm

A copy will be up on the wall in the action room by the end of today. Don't add something on and think it's confirmed. Bookings should go through Xabina, as of the end of this week. I can help until Friday.

There are some big gaps at the beginning of the month. Nothing is scheduled for Sunday the 3rd, Monday 4th or Tuesday 5th. Thursday 7th is free from 10-close.

Moinday 11th free after 11pm
Wednesday 13th free after 9.30pm
Sunday 17th free

There are a few more slots late in the month, but this isn't so problematic as we should be able to fill them once people roll into town.

Chris: Afro Sushi was put down tentatively on Friday the 1st and Saturday the 9th. Are they confirmed for either of those? If not, we have more blank nights.

Hard Rock Monday. It was no joke. I'll contact Xabina.

Either or both, or some combination of either and both. I suppose it would be better to have a real event. But I could go for the 4th just now and give some art school twats the chance to make fools of themselves on the 11th.

'Hard Rock Monday': an sweaty evening of beer and good music.* Dude, you know it makes sense.

* May contain traces of Norwegian death punk, cock rock, acid rock, power pop, Detroit rock, Scandinavian hard rock, riot grrl, Southern rock, frat rock, surf punk, swamp rock and Texan garage.

I've asked for 11-3. Perhaps Olivier will show La Haine before hand to get people in the mood, if the projector is working and nothing else is booked.
