Katy,

Environmental wardens (EW) visited tenant of flat 4/9 Brougham Street today. Tenant has been advised to let his landlord know the repair needs to be carried out to the overflow and has agreed to do this. EW will check on progress in a month’s time.

Hello Katy,

Your query regarding the leaking gutter and overflow pipe has been passed to the area housing office to address now. They are going to try and get access to 4 Brougham Street to take a look at the repair. There are no Council owned properties in this stair, so access will be dependent upon the owner’s cooperation.

Hi Jacquie,

Thanks for this. The damp on the walls is pretty bad, I think the state of the the yard is a big part of the reason, it's becoming mossy again from all the water out there. There is a dripping overflow pipe from one of the tenement flats above The Ventoux, which is why the yard is so wet. What would be the process for getting the owner to fix this?
