Anti-hippy month

Post by mark » Sun Jun 19, 2005 3:21 pm

I've heard talk of such a project. It's high time we discouraged these misguided, self-indulgent wasters. So many of my friends avoid the Forest because they think it's full of these people.

The month of July, during the G8 protests would be an ideal time to begin the purge. I suggest we make a start by refusing entry to anyone whose clothing includes more than three colours.

hippies go home

Post by Brunette on Fire » Tue Jul 05, 2005 8:37 pm

do it in august when i'm back from the states and i'll organise the events.

JUST THINK:

a live DJ spinning tunes for the electro-ironing (bring your own iron, board & starcH)

a shaving competition,

neck-tie tying workshops.

BLISs.

it is on - september, lets make this happen.

NO REGGAE
NO ACOUSTIC GUITARS
NO DJEMBE

NO VEGAN FOOD

we can give out 'hippie meals' (like mcdonalds) to the really bad cases:
-hotel soap
-lice comb
-disposable razors
-mix cd of modern pop and obscure avent guard classical
-pro-capitalist pamphlets
-cloth made of man-made fibers

change the name of the forest for a month to "the 'burbs"

free cake for anyone willing to cut their dreads or clean up their moppish hair.

loads of workshops!
-ayn rand book club.
-economics short courses
-voter registration days
-butchery info
-driving lessons

geek week can be a part of this too
God is great.
